Places of storage, sale of petroleum products to be checked in Kharkiv – Terekhov
The mayor of Kharkiv, Ihor Terekhov, has given instructions to check all places of storage and sale of petroleum products in the city.
"I have instructed the city commission on environmental safety, manmade disaster and emergency response to inspect all places of storage, transportation and sale of petroleum products and other hazardous facilities in Kharkiv. I ask businesses to treat such inspections with understanding, because today we must do everything in our power to prevent terrible consequences of possible attacks from the Russian Federation," Terekhov wrote on his Telegram channel.
As reported, late in the evening of February 9, a large-scale fire started in Nemyshliansky district of Kharkiv as a result of three drones launched from the territory of Belgorod region hitting an oil depot. As a result, seven people, including three children, were killed and three were injured. Some 57 people were left homeless.
