Zelenskyy introduces Syrsky instead of Zaluzhny to HQ, NSDC
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy introduced newly appointed Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky to the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Headquarters and the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) instead of Valeriy Zaluzhny.
Corresponding decrees No. 67/2024 and No. 68/2024 dated February 9 were published on the website of the head of the Ukrainian state.
The president also removed former Minister of Veterans Affairs Yulia Laputina from the National Security and Defense Council.
