Ukrgazvydobuvannia on Feb 8 sets record volume of daily gas production over past five years
JSC Ukrgazvydobuvannia (UGV) achieved the highest daily production since December 2018, receiving 38.54 million cubic meters of commercial gas on February 8, 2024.
"This is a comprehensive result, which was achieved thanks to the commissioning of a record number of new wells, among which a significant number are high-yield, that is, they produce more than 100,000 cubic meters of gas per day. Our goal is not only to maintain this result, but also to develop it in 2024," the Naftogaz group said, citing its CEO Oleksiy Chernyshov on Friday.
As the group said, UGV continues to systematically develop its production, introducing modern drilling technologies and other advanced engineering solutions.
"Only at the beginning of 2024, we have already managed to launch three high-yield wells, which together produce 800,000 cubic meters of gas per day," added Chernyshov.
