President awards Zaluzhny, Budanov and Aheyev title Hero of Ukraine

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy awarded General Valeriy Zaluzhny the title Hero of Ukraine.

Corresponding decree No.61/2024 was published on the website of the head of state.

According to the text of the document, the title was awarded to Zaluzhny for outstanding personal achievements in protecting the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country and selfless service to the Ukrainian people.

In addition, the title Hero of Ukraine with the award of the Order of the Golden Star was awarded to head of the Main Intelligence Agency (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, and Lieutenant Colonel Vyacheslav Aheyev.
