URCS installs 19 mobile shelters in Kherson region
The Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) has established 19 mobile shelters in Kherson region.
"During 2023 and January 2024, Kherson Regional Organization of the Ukrainian Red Cross installed 19 mobile shelters," URCS quoted Larysa Marchenko, chairman of Kherson Regional Organization of the Ukrainian Red Cross, on Facebook as saying.
According to her, shelters are installed in the following settlements: Chornobayivka, Bilozerka, Stanyslav, Kherson, Tomyna Balka, Sofiyivka, Inhulets.
Shelters have been installed in crowded places – near healthcare facilities, markets, bus stations, public transport stops and places where administrative services are provided and will help protect people from shrapnel wounds. The area of each structure is 10 square meters. The shelter can accommodate 10-15 people.
