Govt to approve procedure for recalculating cost of utilities
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, at a meeting on Tuesday, will approve the Procedure for recalculating the cost of utilities for the supply of heat, water and garbage collection.
"This is a clear algorithm based on the principle of ‘pay for what you get.’ It is important for us that the utilities provided are of high quality and meet the stated standards. People should see that they are paying for the services actually provided," said Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal.
He recalled that until the end of the heating season, utility tariffs for electricity, gas and heat for the population remain unchanged.
