Yulia Laputina has resigned from the post of Minister of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine.
"The Verkhovna Rada has received a letter from Yulia Anatolyivna Laputina on her resignation from the post of Minister of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine," Taras Melnychuk, a representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada, wrote on Telegram.
As Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk said on the Telegram channel, the application will be considered at the next plenary session.
As reported, the Verkhovna Rada appointed Yulia Laputina Minister of Veterans Affairs in December 2020.
In early November 2023, the public council under the Ministry of Veterans called on Laputina to resign from the post of minister.
At the end of January 2024, Laputina stated that there had been no talks about her resignation in the government.
