Kyiv receives Estonia-donated Javelin anti-tank missiles – media
A consignment of Javelin missiles, which had been approved by Estonia in December, has arrived in Ukraine, Eesti Rahvusringhääling reported on Saturday, citing the Defense Ministry of Estonia.
Estonian Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur announced on Saturday through the ministry's press service that the next aid package is now being used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
"Recent events in Europe show that the supply of much-needed missiles and other military assistance to Ukraine will continue on a large scale, and with this we, together with our allies, are sending a clear signal to the Kremlin that we will continue to support Ukraine until the bitter end," he said.
In addition to Javelin anti-tank missiles, the next aid package from Estonia, worth EUR 80 million, included machine guns, small arms ammunition, various equipment, and diving equipment.
The exact volume, arrival time of this aid package and other details of the delivery are not disclosed for security reasons.
