Tu-95 pilot shot in Russia – Ukrainian intelligence
Major Oleg Stegachev, the crew commander of a Ty-95 strategic bomber, was shot in the Russian city of Engels, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine has said.
"The pilot of the Russian Aerospace Forces, born on June 23, 1983, served at the Engels Air Base (military unit 06987). He was directly involved in launching missile strikes against civilian targets in Ukraine and killing our people. As a result of the attack, Oleg Stegachev sustained gunshot wounds. We are clarifying whether he survived or not," it said on the Telegram channel on Saturday.
