Russian army inflicts two missile, 86 air strikes on Ukraine in past 24 hours – General Staff
The Russian occupation forces inflicted two missile and 86 air strikes and mounted 46 attacks using multiple launch rockets systems (MLRS) on the Ukrainian defense positions and settlements in the past 24 hours, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said in Saturday updates as of 6 a.m.
In addition, last night, the Russian occupiers launched another attack by 14 Shahed-136/131 kamikaze drones. Ukraine's air defense forces destroyed nine enemy drones.
Towns and villages in Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, and Kherson regions were bombed from the air.
More than 100 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions came under artillery fire.
"Regrettably, there are casualties among the civilians as a result of Russia's terror attacks. Houses and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged," the General Staff said.
