Zelenskyy: Ukraine needs to get EUR 18 bln from European Union in 2024
Ukraine needs to provide two tranches of EU support totaling EUR 18 billion in 2024, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in a video message on Thursday.
“I am grateful to each of the 27 EU countries and the heads of European institutions. Now it is important that the distribution of these funds is carried out similarly to the previous format of support,” he said.
“The first two tranches require a larger amount – EUR 18 billion per year, and then the state's resilience will be greater. The teams of Ukraine and the European Union will work on this issue,” he also said.
