The decision of the leaders of the European Union to provide Ukraine with EUR 50 billion in financial assistance is accompanied by the condition of an annual discussion of implementation in order to provide recommendations.
The relevant decision is spelled out in the conclusions of the European Council, approved in Brussels on Thursday.
"On the basis of the Commission annual report on the implementation of the Ukraine facility, the European Council will hold a debate each year on the implementation of the facility with a view of providing guidance.
