Cabinet submits updated version of draft law on mobilization to Rada
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has submitted to the Verkhovna Rada an updated version of the draft law on mobilization, government representative in Parliament Taras Melnychuk said.
"The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, as a subject of legislative initiative, has registered in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine a draft law ‘On amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine on certain issues of military service, mobilization and military enlistment’ (Register No. 10449)," he wrote on his Telegram channel on Tuesday evening.
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine noted that comments and observations on the bill were taken into account jointly with the General Staff, the government and MPs.
"This bill defines transparent rules of the mobilization process, as well as the necessary regulation of the rights of military personnel and military service personnel," the Defense Ministry's Telegram channel says.
