GUR confirms that Russia-Ukraine prisoner swap being prepared today
Representative of the Main Intelligence Agency of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (GUR), Andriy Yusov, confirmed that on Wednesday, January 24, a prisoner exchange between Russia and Ukraine was being prepared.
"But I can state that the exchange planned for today has not taken place yet," he said in a comment to Radio Liberty.
According to Yusov, the information voiced by the Russian side that the prisoners of war could be in the Il-76 plane that fell in Belgorod region is now being checked.
