URCS warns about spread of fakes on cash payments on social networks
The Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) warns about the spread of fake messages on social networks about alleged cash payments to citizens.
"Be careful, fake information about an alleged cash payment in the amount of UAH 16,000 from the Ukrainian Red Cross Society is being spread in Telegram channels," the society said on Facebook on Tuesday.
The society said the Ukrainian Red Cross Society does not make such payments.
"We post all information about cash payments on our official channels, for example, on the website redcross.org.ua. Be careful and do not pass on personal data or bank card numbers to scammers, and do not follow dubious links," the society said.
