Ukrainian air defense destroys Russian missile in Mykolaiv region – Southern Defense Forces

During an air raid siren related to the activity of enemy tactical aviation in the south of Ukraine, Russian Su-34 fighter jet fired an X-59 guided aviation missile, the press service of the command of the Defense Forces of southern Ukraine reports.

"The missile was destroyed by the air defense forces in Mykolaiv region," the message posted on the Telegram channel says.

As a result of falling debris from a downed rocket, a fire broke out in the ceiling of an unused building. The fire was promptly eliminated by specialists of the State Emergency Service.

"There was no information about the victims," the report says.
