Zaluzhny: Today chain of Sobornist is front line on which thousands of Ukrainian soldiers united in battle for independence, freedom
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny noted on Unity Day that "our unity is our weapon."
"Ukrainian soldiers, sailors, sergeants and officers – you, like no one else, know the price of every piece of Ukrainian land. Because it is the Ukrainian soldier who is fighting today for Ukraine to be united and independent," he said in the Telegram channel.
Zaluzhny said in 1990, thousands of Ukrainians created a human chain of sobornist (conciliarity), uniting the country and showed the world their desire for freedom.
"Today, the chain of Sobornist (Conciliarity) is the front line on which thousands of Ukrainian soldiers united in the battle for independence and freedom. And we know that all of Ukraine is fighting with our soldiers. Our unity is our weapon. Together – to Victory," the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said.
