World's second GovTech center opening in Kyiv – Fedorov
Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov signed an agreement with President of the World Economic Forum Børge Brende and Managing Director Jeremy Jurgens on the opening of a government technology center in Kyiv.
"The GovTech center will be engaged in the digital transformation of the government, the development of e-government and digital skills. Thanks to the center, Ukrainian startupers and innovators will be able to exchange experience with foreign partners and accelerate digital reforms in Ukraine," Fedorov wrote on the Telegram channel.
The first center will open in the near future in Berlin. Ukraine will become the second country in the world where such a platform will be opened.
"This proves that international partners highly value the development of innovation and technology in Ukraine. We are gradually becoming global leaders in the digital transformation of governments and states," the minister emphasized.
