Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic Marketa Pekarova Adamova and Chairman of the Parliament of Finland Jussi Halla-aho spoke at a plenary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Saturday, said member of the European Solidarity faction Oleksiy Honcharenko.
“Chairman of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, Marketa Pekarova Adamova, spoke in the Verkhovna Rada on the occasion of the memory of the victims of the Holodomor. It is very right that friends of Ukraine should come to support us. And it is also important that she ended her speech with the words: a candle is good, but Ukraine needs more weapons ... And right now Speaker of the Finnish parliament, Jussi Halla-aho, is speaking in Ukrainian!" the parliamentarian wrote on his Telegra channel.
In Ukraine, November 25 is the Day of Remembrance for the Victims of the Holodomor.
