Ukraine, Lithuania planning to create joint ammo, drone production
Ukraine and Lithuania are planning to work on the creation of joint ammunition and drone production facilities, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal has said.
"I had a very fruitful and friendly meeting with Prime Minister of Lithuania Ingrida Šimonytė today. We talked about President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's Peace Formula, restoration of Ukraine, energy security, and confiscation of frozen Russian assets. We also paid a lot of attention to the issues of military cooperation. We are planning to work on the creation of joint military production facilities, in particular [for the production of] ammunition and drones," he said at a government meeting on Friday.
According to the prime minister, production of modern weapons, hardware and various military technologies with all main allies is an ambitious goal of Ukraine.
