Enemy starts third wave of active operations as part of offensive in Avdiivka direction

The occupiers have begun a new wave of active actions as part of the offensive in the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders are steadfastly holding the defense, commander of Tavria Operational-Strategic Group of Forces Oleksandr Tarnavsky said.

"In general, in Tavria direction, the enemy's losses in manpower and armored vehicles are growing eight tanks were destroyed, and the total losses in manpower are more than 700 people. In the operational zone of Tavria task force, the enemy carried out 11 airstrikes, carried out 56 combat engagements and committed 973 shelling," he said on the Telegram channel.

The total enemy losses were 706 people. Some 51 units of military equipment were also destroyed. In particular, some 13 armored fighting vehicles, eight artillery systems, two air defense systems, some 15 UAVs, five vehicles. Also, two ammunition depots and four important enemy facilities were destroyed. Another 44 enemy vehicles were damaged.

Tarnavsky said at the same time, the offensive operation in Melitopol direction continues.
