Slovak Union of Motor Carriers blocks Vyšné Nemecké checkpoint on Slovak border

On the territory of Slovakia, carriers are blocking the movement of trucks through the Vyšné Nemecké checkpoint, the Ukrainian State Border Guard Service said on Facebook on Tuesday.

"According to information from the Border Police of the Slovak Republic, today at 13:30 the blocking of the movement of trucks moving in the direction of the Slovak checkpoint Vyšné Nemecké, adjacent to the Ukrainian checkpoint Uzhgorod, began," the service said.

According to it, the blockade was initiated and carried out by the Union of Motor Carriers of Slovakia.

The duration of the promotion has not been announced.

Currently, there are about 300 trucks on the territory of Slovakia in front of the Vyšné Nemecké checkpoint in the direction of Ukraine.

According to the State Border Guard Service, the passage of cars and buses is carried out as usual.
