Zelenskyy orders to find solution to prevent Kinzhal carrier take-offs' paralyzing impact on Ukraine
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, at a meeting of the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander on Friday, ordered the defense forces and the government to find a solution that would prevent a paralyzing impact of long-lasting air raid alerts, due to take-offs of Russian MiG jets, on the country's life.
"I ordered the Defense Ministry, the General Staff [of the Armed Forces of Ukraine], and the Cabinet of Ministers to suggest a solution that would ensure that Kinzhal carrier take-offs do not paralyze the country for hours," the head of state said on the Telegram channel on Friday.
As reported, in recent weeks, some of the air raid alerts, announced all over Ukraine due to the take-offs of Russian MiG-31 jets, lasted for three to five hours. The reason for this is the capability of Russian pilots to refuel the aircraft, which carry Kinzhal hypersonic missiles, in the air.
