URCS not engaged in advertising, selling medical products
The Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) is not engaged in advertising and selling medical products.
"Recently, the number of revealed fake news has increased that the Ukrainian Red Cross allegedly allocated funds for the purchase of a medical drug. In addition, fraudsters create fake websites of the Ukrainian Red Cross and the International Committee of the Red Cross, where they collect phone numbers and personal data and counterfeit a series of commercials where allegedly representatives of the Ukrainian Red Cross talk about a medical drug. This is a scam," URCS wrote on Facebook on Tuesday.
URCS stressed that the mission of the Red Cross of Ukraine is to help the most vulnerable segments of the population and respond to emergencies.
