Ukraine ranked second in the world charity ranking, reports the British Charities Aid Foundation (CAF).
According to CAF data published on the official website, Ukraine gained 13 points compared to 2022. Last year, Ukraine ranked tenth in the ranking.
As noted, among adult Ukrainians, 78% help strangers, 70% donate and 37% volunteer.
Scores are calculated from an average of the responses for each country. A higher score (out of 100) indicates that more of the population is engaged with giving.
The study results also showed a positive trend in global donations. Overall, 72% of the world's population supports others, which is approximately 4.2 billion people.
