Umerov, Lecornu discuss continuation of military assistance to Ukraine
Defense Ministers of Ukraine and France, Rustem Umerov and Sebastian Lecornu, discussed air defense, artillery and cooperation between the defense industries of the two countries.
"Our commitment to Ukraine is permanent, reliable and solid. In two weeks, this is the second conversation with Rustem Umerov, during which we once again confirmed that attention is being paid to ground air defense, artillery and cooperation between our two defense industries," Lecornu wrote on Twitter on Thursday.
In turn, Umerov said that during the conversation, the ministers discussed the continuation of military assistance to Ukraine, as well as the vision of expanding cooperation in the defense sector.
"I spoke with Lecornu about the continuation of military assistance to Ukraine, which will strengthen the defense capability of our country both in the short and long term. We discussed the vision of expanding cooperation in the defense sector and localization of production in Ukraine," Umerov wrote on the social network X (formerly Twitter).
