Profile committee recommends Verkhovna Rada to adopt 2024 budget in second reading
The Verkhovna Rada Committee on Budget has decided to recommend the Verkhovna Rada to adopt the national budget for 2024 in second reading, according to the chairperson of the committee, Roksolana Pidlasa (the Servant of the People faction).
"The committee recommends the 2024 budget for second reading," she said on Facebook on Saturday.
MP Yaroslav Zhelezniak (the Holos faction) said in a message on the Telegram channel that the text of the bill remained almost unchanged for second reading.
He also assumed that the consideration of the bill in second reading and the final adoption of the 2024 national budget will be held next week.
"The consideration and final adoption in the session hall is most likely to be held on November 8," Zhelezniak said.
As reported, the Verkhovna Rada adopted the draft 2024 budget in first reading on October 19.
