Zelenskyy replaces commander of Special Operations Forces with Lupanchuk – decrees
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has dismissed Viktor Kharchenko from the post of Commander of the Special Operations Forces (SOF) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and appointed Serhiy Lupanchuk to this position.
Relevant decrees No. 727/2023 and 728/2023 of November 3 were published on the website of the head of the Ukrainian state.
As reported, Khorenko held the position since July 25, 2022. Earlier, this position was held by Hryhoriy Halahan.
Lupanchuk has a rank of Colonel. There is no publicly available information about him.
