Occupiers fire 602 times at Kherson, its suburbs in October, eight city residents killed – city administration
Eight civilians of Kherson merged territorial community were killed and 80 injured during October as a result of the shelling of the city by Russian occupiers from the left bank of the Dnipro river controlled by them, head of the Kherson City Military Administration Roman Mrochko said.
"In October, the Russian army fired 602 times from the temporarily occupied left bank at the settlements of Kherson City Territorial Community. It fired 2,706 shells at the same time, wounded 80 civilians, killed eight people," Mrochko wrote on Telegram on Wednesday.
Kherson community, in addition to the regional center, the city of Kherson, includes four villages (formerly a village) and 11 surrounding villages located on the right bank and on islands in the Dnipro delta. The area of the community is 453 sq km, the population at the time of creation in 2020 was 323,000 people, of which 279,000 lived in Kherson itself.
