Ambassador Brodsky: we hope Zelenskyy to come to Israel
Israeli Ambassador to Ukraine Michael Brodsky said that Israel would be glad to see head of the Ukrainian state Volodymyr Zelenskyy on a visit of solidarity and support.
"You know that President Zelenskyy spoke with our Prime Minister immediately after what happened (after the Hamas attack). We hope that President Zelenskyy will come to Israel. We are waiting for Zelenskyy in Israel, we will be glad to see him on a visit of solidarity and support," the ambassador said at a press conference in Kyiv on Tuesday.
He added that he "does not know whether Ukraine is the most pro-Israeli country in the world, but it is definitely one of the most pro-Israeli countries in Europe today."
Brodsky noted that Ukraine is one of the few countries where there were no protests in support of Hamas.
