Umerov discusses latest information from battlefield with his U.S. colleague – Ministry of Defense

Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov had a telephone call with U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, the press service of the Ministry of Defense has reported.

"Minister Umerov shared latest information from the battlefield with his U.S. colleague," the Ministry of Defense said a message published on its Telegram channel on Saturday.

The minister of defense also said that, as of this moment, the losses of the invaders near Avdiyivka are approximately 4,000 people.

In addition, Ukraine thanked the American side for continued cooperation and the supply of artillery ammunition.

"Further deliveries of ATACMS will make it possible to more effectively inflict fire on military infrastructure and command posts deep behind enemy lines in the occupied Ukrainian territories," the ministry said.
