Kamyshin: next year we will receive first products manufactured by foreign defense companies in Ukraine

Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine Oleksandr Kamyshin predicts that in 2024 the first products will be produced from Western defense companies that open their offices in Ukraine.

"I am confident that by the end of the year we will have more companies opening offices in Ukraine. And next year will be the year when we receive the first products from them," he said at a briefing at the NATO-Industry Forum, which is taking place in Stockholm on Wednesday.

The minister said that many Western defense companies have already opened offices in Ukraine, both independently and as part of a joint venture with Ukrainian companies.

"The main thing for us is that enterprises come and start local activities in Ukraine," Kamyshin said.
