Ukraine's MFA: Deaths of 19 Ukrainians in Israel, three in Gaza Strip confirmed
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine confirms the death in the Gaza Strip of two Ukrainian children born in 2014 and 2017, the total death toll among Ukrainians in Israel is 19 killed Ukrainians, Spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Oleh Nikolenko told Interfax-Ukraine.
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine confirms the death of two Ukrainian children born in 2014 and 2017 in the Gaza Strip. Their identities have been established. We sympathize with the parents," Nikolenko said.
The spokesman said the Ukrainian mission in Ramallah is clarifying all the circumstances of the tragedy and maintaining contact with relatives.
The Foreign Ministry also said the total number of confirmed casualties among Ukrainians in Israel is 19 killed and one missing. There are three killed Ukrainian citizens in the Gaza Strip.
