Zelenskyy discusses with Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia development of relations between Ukraine, Gulf countries

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed in a telephone conversation with Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman ways to further develop Ukraine’s ties with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf countries.

“I thanked His Royal Highness for his personal efforts to make the Peace Formula meeting in Jeddah a success. I invited a Saudi representative to take part in the next round of talks in Malta and noted the importance of the Kingdom’s role in preparing for the Global Peace Summit,” Zelenskyy said on X Monday.

“We also discussed the situation in the Middle East. I highlighted the need of preventing further escalation of the conflict and civilian casualties,” he also said.
