Zelenskyy appoints Shvets as head of Main SBU Investigation Dept – decree
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy appointed Andriy Shvets as head of the Main Investigation Department of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), who has headed the department in an acting capacity since 2019.
Corresponding decree No. 704/2023 of October 23 was published on the official website of the head of the Ukrainian state on Monday.
According to open sources, Shvets worked in the prosecutor's office, the State Fiscal Service, and the Ministry of Justice, where he headed investigative units for more than 10 years. He was appointed acting head of the Main Investigation Department of the SBU on November 22, 2019.
