Zelenskyy confirms use of ATACMS missile by AFU

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has confirmed the use of ATACMS missiles by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

"Today I am especially grateful to the United States. Our agreements with President [of the United States Joseph] Biden are being implemented. And they are being implemented very accurately – ATACMS have proven themselves," he said in a video address on Tuesday evening.

As reported, the Special Operations Forces (SOF) carried out a successful operation to attack Russian air bases in Berdiansk and Luhansk on the night of October 17.

According to the SOF, nine helicopters of various types, special equipment, an air defense launcher, and an ammunition depot were destroyed and runways were damaged.
