More than 60,000 military personnel awarded for participating in battles for country – Zelenskyy
Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, more than 60,000 military personnel have already been awarded in battles to protect Ukraine, said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
“Today I have signed new decrees on awarding soldiers with state awards. During the entire time of this full-scale war, more than 60,000 Ukrainians have already been awarded for participating in battles for the sake of the state,” he said in an evening video message.
The head of state emphasized that “this is truly full-scale courage and bravery, whose roots are in the character of our people. In the character that does not give up. In the character that will definitely win.”
