AFU General Staff reports 53 combat clashes with enemy over past 24 hours

The Russian occupation forces inflicted six missile and 39 air strikes as well as mounted 16 attacks using multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS) over the past 24 hours, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has said in the updates as of 18:00 on Monday.

"Over the past day, 53 combat clashes occurred. The enemy inflicted a total of six missile and 39 air strikes and mounted 16 attacks using MLRS on the positions of our forces and our settlements," it said on Facebook.

Russia inflicted another missile attack on Ukraine by Kh-59 missiles, one Iskander-M ballistic missile, and twelve Shahed-136/131 kamikaze drones. The air defense forces destroyed two Kh-59 missiles and eleven Shahed drones.

"The operational situation in the east and south of Ukraine remains difficult," the General Staff said.
