Head of Kherson region calls on families with children to get evacuated from region
Head of Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin has addressed the families with children with a call to get evacuated to safe places.
"Sooner or later the situation may become critical for the civilian citizens. You should be aware of this and get ready. I am calling on you once again to take care of your children and provide them with an opportunity to live in a safe place," he said on the Telegram channel on Thursday.
Prokudin also said that his own family has left the region to a safe part of Ukraine.
"Trust me you will come back home. The main thing is to stay alive and unharmed. And e, together with the entire team of the government agencies, medics, law enforcers and rescuers, have made our choice – we are staying and continue to work on Kherson," he said.
