Ukraine, Germany to extend defense-industrial cooperation – Umerov after meeting with Pistorius
Defense Minister of Ukraine Rustem Umerov, who held a meeting with his German counterpart Boris Pistorius in Brussels, has announced the countries' plans to extend the defense-industrial cooperation.
"Glad to meet my German colleague Boris Pistorius. Thanks to the German Defense Ministry for EUR 1 billion military aid package to strengthen Ukrainian Air Defense before winter, including 10 Leopard 1 tanks. We also plan to extend defense-industrial cooperation between our countries," the Ukrainian minister said on the X social network on Thursday.
