Juvenile prosecutors: Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine claims lives of 506 children
More than 1,639 children were injured as a result of Russia's full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine: as of October 10 morning, according to official information from juvenile prosecutors, 506 children were killed and more than 1,133 suffered injuries of varying degrees of severity, the Prosecutor General's Office (PGO) has said.
These numbers are not final. Work continues on their determination in the areas where hostilities are taking place as well as temporarily occupied and liberated territories.
The most affected children were in Donetsk region – 489, Kharkiv region – 303, Kherson region – 130, Kyiv region – 129, Zaporizhia region – 99, Mykolaiv region – 97, Dnepropetrovsk region – 96, Chernihiv region – 72, and Luhansk region – 67.
