Zelenskyy appoint Barhylevych as new commander of Ukrainian Territorial Defense Forces – decree
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed Ihor Tantsiura from the post of commander of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and appointed Anatoliy Barhylevych to this position.
Corresponding decrees No. 678\2023 and No. 679\2023 dated October 9 were published on the website of the head of state.
As reported, Zelenskyy appointed Tantsiura commander of the Territorial Defense Forces in May 2022. Barhylevych was commander of the territorial defense of the Ground Forces Command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
