Ukraine, UK to continue, expand defense cooperation – Zelenskyy
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, on the sidelines of the third Summit of the European Political Community in Granada (Spain), met with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
"During the meeting with Rishi Sunak, we discussed efforts to ensure long-term global support for Ukraine. Ukraine and the UK will continue and expand defense cooperation," the president said in his Telegram.
According to him, ways to export Ukrainian grain were discussed. In addition, agreement was reached regarding the need to protect freedom of navigation in the Black Sea.
As the presidential press service said, they also discussed possible formats for insuring ships heading to Ukrainian ports.
Separately, the leaders discussed the necessary efforts to continue international support for Ukraine and continued security cooperation.
