Four Ukrainians killed, four more injured in traffic accident near Venice – Foreign Ministry
Four Ukrainians were killed and four were injured as a result of a bus accident that occurred on the evening of October 3 in the Mestre district of Venice, Foreign Ministry spokesman Oleh Nikolenko told Interfax-Ukraine.
"The Italian side has completed the identification of persons injured in an accident near Venice. According to updated information, four Ukrainians were killed and four were injured. The injured citizens are receiving medical care in the hospitals of Mestre, Treviso and Padova. There is no threat to their lives," Nikolenko said.
The Foreign Ministry said Ukrainian consuls provide consular assistance to Ukrainians, monitor their treatment and contact their relatives.
