Lithuanian President arrives in Kyiv to celebrate Independence Day
Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda has arrived in Kyiv to celebrate the Independence Day of Ukraine.
"Back in Kyiv to celebrate Ukraine's Independence Day together with the brotherly Ukrainian nation," he said on Twitter on Wednesday morning.
"Ukraine's victory is near! Lithuania will continue supporting Ukraine for as long as it takes," the Lithuanian president said.
Ukraine celebrates Independence Day on August 24, and August 23 marks the Day of the State Flag of Ukraine.
