URCS donates protective respirator masks to Zaporizhia, Dnipro
The Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) is handing over protective respirator masks to the communities of Zaporizhia and Dnipro.
"More than 4,000 protective respirator masks are being donated by the Ukrainian Red Cross Society with the support of the Canadian Red Cross to communities. Currently, this humanitarian aid is primarily being transferred to Zaporizhia and Dnipro," the society saidon Facebook on Tuesday.
The Ukrainian Red Cross Society also said respirator masks will gradually be sent to other cities in Ukraine, whose residents may potentially need such protective equipment.
These types of respirators provide at least 15 minutes of respiratory, eye and face protection from chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear threats, which, in case of danger, will protect citizens during emergency evacuation.
