URCS transfers water tanks to Kherson region suffering from destruction of Kakhovka HPP
The Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS), with the assistance of TotalEnergies Marketing Ukraine LLC, transferred 100 water storage tanks to the settlements of Kherson region affected by flooding caused by the undermining of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant (HPP) by the Russian occupiers.
"Thanks to the cooperation of the Ukrainian Red Cross and TotalEnergies Marketing Ukraine LLC, one hundred water storage tanks with a volume of 1,000 liters each have been sent to the settlements affected by the destruction of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station," the URCS reported on Facebook on Monday.
In coordination with the local authorities, the containers will be distributed among the settlements most affected by the disaster and having problems with water.
