Ukraine's MFA criticizes UN post about 'celebration' of Russian language day after explosion of Kakhovka HPP
Speaker of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleh Nikolenko reacted to a UN post on Twitter about the Russian language day after the Russian invaders undermined the dam of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant.
"What a day at the UN to celebrate Russian language! UN tweets about cultural diversity, ignoring the biggest catastrophe in Europe in decades caused solely by Russia. Why be silent?" Nikolenko said on Twitter.
Earlier, a post appeared on the UN Twitter page that June 6 is the Russian language day at the UN.
