Macron calls on CoE to support early opening of 100 mental health centers in Ukraine
French President Emmanuel Macron has called on the Council of Europe (CoE) to promote the creation of hundreds of mental health centers in Ukraine to help Ukrainians cope with the trauma of war.
"We must come to the aid of Ukrainians who are experiencing severe traumas of war every day. In the Council of Europe, I propose a big project to support the early opening of one hundred mental health centers in Ukraine," he wrote on Twitter following his speech at the opening of the Council of Europe summit.
The 4th summit of the Council of Europe takes place in the capital of Iceland, Reykjavik on May 16-17.
Earlier it was noted that the International Register of Losses Caused by the Aggression of the Russian Federation will be presented at the summit, the creation of a special international tribunal and a comprehensive international compensation mechanism will be supported.
