SAPO notifies head of Supreme Court, lawyer of suspicion exposed for receiving $2.7 mln in bribes
The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) has reported suspicion to the head of the Supreme Court and his accomplice, a lawyer, who were exposed when receiving a $2.7 million bribe.
"On May 16, 2023, the head of SAPO personally reported suspicion to the head of the Supreme Court and a lawyer exposed for receiving $2.7 million of illegal benefits. The actions of persons are qualified under Part 4 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine," the SAPO's press service reported.
The issue of applying to the Supreme Council of Justice and the High Anti-Corruption Court is being resolved.
